I'm a Science (Psychology Biology) teacher who has found a creative outlet in writing. I love to read and in the process decided to try out some of my own ideas. Come and read about my book and please leave me some comments!

About Me

Hello there and Welcome to my brand new blog!

A little about me:

My name, for the purposes of this blog is Mojo. I was born in Hong Kong to two mixed-race parents (Both half Chinese but one with German blood and one with Russian blood) and moved to NZ, USA and then Melbourne Australia in my youth. Nowadays, I call Brisbane home.

I am a secondary Psychology and Biology teacher hailing from Brisbane Queensland. I've had experience across two different states and three different syllabus (VCE, IB and QCE) and am about to lead the changes for the external exams coming into Qld in the next two years. I also work as an examiner in the IB and VCE, I write and review textbooks and I tutor as well (Yes I am aware that I am crazy for taking on so much!)

Before working in Education, my passion was in neuroscience and psychology having completed two theses on these topics and working extensively in Hospitals with Clinical Trials.

On top of this, I LOVE to shop, I love hanging out with my dogs (Furbabies), Brooklyn and Harley, and my husband who I married in April this year. I also love to write, do crafts, complete puzzles and watch TV. I also find educational psychology highly fascinating and I would love to blog about all of it! But to keep it a bit more focused, the main things I will blog about will be my writing (which I started this year), reviewing tech gadgets which I love to get, my own battle with mental health, and also education based ideas and thoughts for students and teachers alike.

So if you are like me or if any of those things sound interesting to you stick around and join in! I look forward to talking to all of you out there!
