I’m an
overachiever. There, I said it. I don’t believe it, but I said it.
It has been
drummed into me for so many years “Gees, you’re such an overachiever.” “Where
do you find the time? You must do nothing but your work.” “Do you even have a
life?”
So as a
result, I have hidden a lot of my activities and thoughts throughout the
years in fear of what people may think of me.
Interestingly,
I found out that this hostility towards those who may want to achieve to
the best of their ability was a uniquely Australian prejudice. In my
travels, I have been able to find many like minded people and also those who
are even more driven and motivated than I. So I decided that I am done hiding what I do and what I think, and that is why I am starting this blog. I want this to be a space where you can share your experiences and ideas too! I'll be showing you as much of me as possible, especially in my latest endeavor which is writing.
